Aged 7 Years - Madeira Cask Finish

Parkmore Selection is a series of single malt whiskies that have been maturing in our traditional dunnage warehouse at Coleburn Distillery and have been selected by the members of our Whisky Creations Team working from Parkmore. The whiskies have all been through our Art of Maturation programme, and monitored closely during their years in traditional oak casks. In this instance, we are proud to offer whisky lovers a fine example of the programme. This quality spirit from Auchroisk, distilled in Speyside, has been matured in ex-bourbon casks, after which time it was transferred to first-fill Madeira barrels finish. Bottled without chill-filtering or added colour – for you to gain maximum enjoyment from this dram.

Tasting Notes

The influence of the two years in Madeira barrels is clear from the very beginning. Light fruit and floral scents are complemented by wine notes in the foreground of the bouquet, with hints of malt, spice and tobacco. The picture is complete with just a touch of smoke hovering in the background.

Parkmore Breeze

• 60ml Parkmore Selection
• 15ml Sugar Syrup
• Lemon Wedges
• Mint Leaves
• Ice
• Lemonade to fill

Muddle 4-5 mint leaves in a cocktail shaker and add ice. Pour in the Parkmore Selection and the syrup. Strain over ice and lemon wedges, then top up the glass with lemonade. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Scotch Bonfire

• 50ml Parkmore Selection
• 25ml Cranberry syrup
• 100ml Ginger ale
• 10ml Fresh lime juice
• Lime wedges
• 3-4 Ice Cubes

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and pour in the Parkmore, syrup and lime juice. Strain into a glass filled with ice and lime wedges, and top with ginger ale.

Woodland Fizz

• 50ml Parkmore Selection
• 50ml Tonic water
• 20ml Lime juice
• 40ml Blackberry syrup
• Blackberries
• Lemon

To make the syrup – cook equal parts blackberries, sugar and water on the stove for 10 minutes, leave to cool then strain. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice then add the Parkmore Selection, syrup and juice and shake for 10 seconds. Pour into a chilled glass filled with ice, top with the tonic water and garnish with lemon and fresh blackberries.
