Built in 1894, Aceo’s historic house sits in the grounds of the now silent distillery in Dufftown. Our Whisky Creations Team regularly gather here to sample casks for our superb range of Scotch whiskies, including this fine single malt Parkmore Selection.

Artfully Matured In Barolo Casks

During the Great Depression of the 1930s, it became law in America that only new oak casks could be used to age bourbon whiskey, creating jobs for coopers and an abundance of surplus barrels. Canny Scotch whisky distillers were quick to make use of these casks, that introduce creamy vanilla and tropical fruit flavours, allowing Scotland’s barley-rich spirit to shine.
