Panamanian Rum

Iguana Rum was distilled in Panama, produced according to a traditional recipe brought over from Cuba. Dating back centuries, it is a product of its creators’ patience and experience. This molasses-based spirit was matured for five years in oak barrels, which resulted in a rounded flavour, adding to the rum’s complexity. It can be enjoyed on the rocks, but will reveal its full potential in long drinks.

Tasting Notes

Delicate, warm, sugarcane sweetness, with pronounced vanilla notes, a little bit of spice and a hint of oakiness.

• 50ml Iguana Rum
• 50ml Soda water
• Lime Half juiced and half sliced
• Mint leaves
• 1tsp Brown sugar

An iconic mojito that resonates Caribbean soul. Muddle the lime slices, sugar and mint leaves in a small jug, crushing the mint as you go. Pour over the rum, and add the lime juice, stirring with a long-handled spoon. Top up with sparkling water, add ice, garnish with mint and serve.

Cuba Libre

• 50ml Iguana Rum
• 100ml Cola
• 10ml Lime juice
• Lime slices

Fill a tall glass with slices of lime and ice. Pour in Iguana Rum and lime juice. Add in the cola and stir together. Finish with a slice of lime.

Coconut Water Highball

• 50ml Iguana Rum
• 300ml Coconut Water
• Pineapple

Pour in the coconut water over a glass filled with ice, then gently add the Iguana Rum over the top. Garnish with a wedge of pineapple and drop in one of its leaves for that sunny beach cocktail look.
